    JetArt AquaCool (AK1000)

          Water Cooling kit

PART 1 – In the Box

Today we will be looking at the JetArt AK1000 aqua cool watercooling kit from JetArt. The difference between this and the rest are that this is external only and the smallest out of the lot (you will se how small later. Let’s get this box open and see what we got.

Wow, first impressions were How Small is it. I will picture it next to something later to give you an idea of the size. As for the packaging the box was packed in a safe way and none of the components were damaged, it was packed in two layers with the top half containing the parts and accessories. There was no included water additive (JetArt should add this as this unit could be installed by a novice and most of them will probably don’t know this would help keep the system clean and corrosion free) it wasn’t even mentioned in the manual, it just said to put in distilled water. I think jet art should add the additive in the bottle that comes with it, It would help.

I would like to point out that the Tubes and cables you see are already pre attached to the main unit, what JetArt have achieved by doing this is making this kit so easy to install a novice could do it. Also for the UK you will get the kit with a 2 pin euro connector, don’t worry though there is a converter plug included in the package.

Now I didn’t understand this why would I need to power the unit from the pc when I have a power wire to connect to the mains I was confused why not power it all from the system or from the mains power? If you read on you will find out why as I did. The Pci adapter has 2 holes one with a notch in it to run the wires (sensor and Molex).
