Presentation

The packaging of the Noctua NH-U12P 1366 is much the same as the regular NH-U12P before it, with just a few subtle changes in the product features stuck around the box. Note that noctua calls this a “special edition of the cooler” for intel core i7.

As this cooler is specifically for LGA 1366 it doesn’t show AMD sockets like the regular NH-U12P box does. The back of the box that had the AM2 mount diagram is now filled with quotes of praise from publications that reviewed the NH-U12P.

Apart from the features of the NF-P12 fan on the bottom, Noctua have chosen all different features to highlight in this version of the cooler, mostly showing why this one is better than the regular NH-U12P.

The “endorsement” side of the box remains the same, with the multi-lingual product description and reviewing sites that have given the NH-U12P rewards (there do appear to be more crammed on here than last time :P).

And opening the box we see the same familiar package structure the NH-U12P came with.
