Introduction

Things have changed a bit since the early days I mean I can go back to the day when the AMD 1gig CPU was released, off I trotted all the way over the other side of London to pick up my one gig CPU, (there is a point to this story I promise).

I arrive at the computer distributors and get prepare to purchase a standard board and my 1 gig CPU, then I get asked do you want a abit motherboard to go with that???? What and who are abit was my reply, so he explains that they make a motherboard that can easily Overclock the cpu for better speed, but there is one problem.. I thought what the hell I am not buying that problem…

Well the problem was that abit mobos were that new at the time that you could not pick one up with English manuals or anything, just german asian…. Now that was a long time ago and since then things went up… now abit has pulled out of the motherboard market and gone into the consumer device sector, already we have reviewed an exclusive test version of their FunFab Frame.  Having reviewed there revolutionary P80 frame last year I was really interested to see what changes and any improvements abit have made to the new P71 Series frame they have brought out. The Digital frame I’ll be reviewing today in the P71-A2 frame that looks totally different from the P80 frame in every way so let’s get on the review and see what lays in store for me.
