For this review I will be looking at a product that comes from possibly one of the biggest and most respected names in the business of after market PC cooling products. Anyone who has upgraded their pc to either improve the cooling or quieten their system down has almost certainly heard of Noctua. The product I will be looking at is the Noctua NH-C12P CPU cooler. With such a reputation to uphold I expect nothing less than good results, time will tell.

Before looking at the NH-C12P here is some info on Noctua, taken from the Noctua website.

What Does Noctua mean?
The little owl, Athene noctua, is the symbol of the Greek goddess Athene, who represents wisdom, science and strategy. She has a marked preference for the most clever among the Greek heroes, like Odysseus, who endure their adventures by the use of savvy consideration instead of mere force. Rascom Computerdistribution Ges.m.b.H. is specialised in the distribution of PC accessories for the highest demands. The core of the business activities is made up of cooling (with a special focus on silent components), design and high-end cases and quality power supplies. Furthermore, Rascom offers a broad range of high-grade accessories (e.g. external drive enclosures, removable racks, input devices, etc.) At Noctua, Rascom employees contribute their know-how mainly in the areas of R&D, marketing and support and manage the second level of the Noctua quality assurance program. At Noctua, Kolink is involved in the R&D process and responsible for the manufacturing and on-site quality control, which is the first level of the Noctua quality assurance program that was framed in coordination with Rascom.
