Before we take a look at the Akasa Integral P2NES here is some info about Akasa, taken from Akasa’s website.

Currently Akasa have offices in London, Taipei, Rotterdam and Sao Paulo, Brazil and the Akasa brand was launched in 2000; the name coming from a Sanskrit word meaning; atmosphere, space and the ether.

For this review I will be looking at a new product from Akasa, the Akasa Integral P2NES, which is a hard drive enclosure, not for your normal 3½” drives but a 2½” laptop drive. It is also comes with eSata and usb2 connectivity so I am expecting some reasonable file transfer speeds.
