Conclusion

Sharkoon have designed a good power supply in the Silent Storm – there is no question that if you are after a high-power high-end yet quiet power supply that this one should be on top of your list.  It has all the cabling that you might need, is stable as a rock and looks good too.  There is not really much else to say about it other than it does exactly what it says on the box and does it well, with the recent release of the 8800 series I would have to say I think this would have trouble with handling the 8800 in GTS flavor, as I have seen 750w PSU’s fail at this task. Still a solid PSU and a good first impression from Sharkoon as they move into the PSU market.

PROs
• Good Cable Sheathing
• A good amount of Power Connectors
• Stable power supply
• Looks good
• Quiet
• Long Cables
• Dual-GPU support
• Very nicely priced

Cons
• Not Modular – if required
