Included already was two pieces of software 1st was secure lock (Swissbit’s standard software for securely locking the device), this was easy to use and very straight forward.
The second bit of software TravelitEasy was more complete with a setting to allow you to set up email accounts as well as sync options internet explorer favs, my documents, and others.
There is even a feature to leave a calling card with details of owners address ect and any reward offered, hopefully though no one will have to ever use it, but in reality it’s a possibility. So a handy add-on.
So no matter were you are you just have to plug in to a pc and the device will grab you mail as well as sync with other files in my documents (ideal for carrying work around and home) a excellent bit of software that worked really well. Here is a snippet from Travel it easy website Travel it Easy is a mobility enhancing software that offers useful solutions to the USB Flash Drive users. The application increases the benefits brought by these devices to mobile professionals, students and all other users allowing them to carry, manage and protect the files, e-mails and contacts needed everyday. Thanks to Travel it Easy managing files, e-mail and internet functions is a mere child’s play. Travel it Easy comes from now on pre-installed on all Swissbit Swissmemory™ Flash Drive models: Victorinox (Swiss Army Knife), Twist, TwistPro and bit4flash SLIM transforming them into convenient multi-talent products. Travel it Easy offers the USB Flash Drive user a variety of useful functions. An intuitive and friendly to use user interface allows access to the different options. Those concerned about security issues can choose to password protect their data so even if the Drive is lost or stolen the data remains undisclosed to intrusive eyes. And that is not all. Travel it Easy features the USB Drive Lost & Found™ function that allows the finder to read a HTML file containing the user’s contact information but doesn’t let him access the data stored on the USB Drive. With the My Documents synchronization function the user can choose to synchronize the entire My Documents folder or only selected subfolders with his USB Drive in a very easy way. The Outlook Express function enables the user to copy his Outlook Express user identity and all the data (like e-mails, contacts etc.) on to the USB Flash Drive and then work with them on a remote PC. Emails can be sent, contacts added and then all the data can be transferred back on the original PC easily with just a few mouse clicks. A practical function, especially for those who do a lot of traveling. However, features are nothing without performance. So let us move on and get the device tested. Testing To test the access and transfer rates I used Sisoft, this was run a total of 3 times for a true result with the middle result being used.
(Click on pic for larger version) As you can see it outperformed other high speed drives (as the 1.1 usb version beat other 1.1 devices) and the results were impressive. I have to say I was impressed with SwissBit, having already proved them selves before on 1.1 they now have done it on USB 2.0 buy insuring a high access and transfer rate. Next page Conclusion
