XtremeComputing Christmas Giveaway - Win a ITX gaming rig

Well no doubt most of you would have come here from our Christmas buying guide wanting to see what this competition is about, for those who did not take a read, we believe we have put up a nice selection of products for you to put on your wish list just in time for Christmas.

Now let us get to the point thanks to these manufactures listed bellow we have a great prize for one of you lucky souls to win this year.

So what have we got, well from Zotac we have the H55 ITX motherboard (specs here) and a Zotac 460GTX graphics (specs here) card mentioned in our buying guide..

From Intel we have an Intel I5 to put into the motherboard (specs here) to help make it perform like a full size desktop, but wait that is not all.

Also included in this prize fund is a 4 gig Crucial Ballistix 1600 Tracer kit in blue (specs here) to complete the board setup. So yes that means you have a Chance of winning your very own i5 mini ITX gaming setup... OH hold on a minute....

We have not stopped there, we also have for you 1 Western Digital Caviar green 2 TB drive (specs here) for you to fill with as much content as you can

Shall we stop there.... no we will not, we also have a Thermaltake Armor A30 micro ATX/mini ITX gaming case (specs here) as well as a 675W ToughPower XT modular PSU. (specs here). To add to that we will grab a DVD drive from our Part Bin and throw that in as well...

So let us recap what the winner of the XtremeComputing Christmas Competition will be winning from Xtreme Santa this year.

  1. Zotac h55 mini ITX motherboard
  2. Zotac GTX460 Graphics card
  3. Intel i5 CPU
  4. 4 GB kit of crucial Ballistix Tracer Blue 1600mhz memory
  5. 2TB Western Digital Caviar Green
  6. Thermaltake A30 Small FF case
  7. Thermaltake Tough Power XT 675W PSU

So as you can see the Winner of this competition will be receiving everything they need to get a Small FF based gaming rig based on the mini ITX platform.... should we stop there?

No I don’t think we should do you, I mean that is just not really fair a nice small rig that you may win, but be stuck with a normal keyboard and mouse and headset, so what the hell, SteelSeries were kind enough to donate everything from the guide and a mouse on top too... (more info on SteelSeries products here)

It does not matter to them that we did not pick one of their mice, they just think it is only right the winner gets a whole SteelSeries setup...

So to put it straight one lucky winner will receive a fully ready to go i5 based (minus operating system) mini ITX gaming rig with the one of the best keyboards on the market and what I think is one of the best Headsets on the market as well as mouse. An Amazing prize fund with a total value of Approx £800..... Now Xtreme Santa has been Xtremely (excuse the pun :P) kind this year....

How do you win, well all you need to do is answer a few simple questions...

  1. Zotac are fairly new to the market, but can you name the year they first appeared on the PC scene?
  2. Intel released the first i5 Chip in which year?
  3. In what year was crucial founded?
  4. In what year was Western Digital founded?
  5. SteelSeries have been making gaming pc products since when?
  6. When was Thermaltake founded

All you have to do for your chance of winning the product is send your answers together with email address, Home address and postcode and Mobile phone number to
