SilverStone Strider 600W Modular PSU
Posted on: 27.02.2006 01:00:00

Overall the Strider is one of the best PSUs that I have used in a long time, Silverstone once again have impressed me with their consistency and build quality, as I noted earlier Silverstone are renowned for their enclosure design, but after looking at the ST60F there expansion into the PSU manufacturing is a good move, i also liked the fact it was perfect for aiding in cooling the HDDs in the TJ06 I would recommend this PSU to anybody looking with a high spec PC, the main problem with the Strider ST60F is the price, at 90($155) it is not cheap but you have to remember that you are getting the best components available, but because of this price I could not recommend it to an average user that does not need the power or the modular aspect or the sheer amount of power.

Pros
Clean and elegant looks
Quiet operation and good airflow
Solid and accurate rails
Compact size
Modular
Braided Cables

Cons
Cables could be longer
