Crucial Ballistix MOD Temperature-sensing DDR3
Posted on: 30.08.2010 01:00:00

Specifications (Taken from Crucials website)

Additional features – Temperature Sensor

Software – (available at http://www.crucial.com/ballistix/bl-mod-utility.aspx)

The Mod Utility wasn’t included in the packaging (and is currently still in beta), however I expect that by the time these dimms are released, Crucial should have finished the temperature reading program, and it may be included with the packaging itself.

The 8-8-8-24 timings aren’t exactly break-through, however at 1600mhz and only 1.65 volts, this isn’t such a surprise.

Let’s look at the dimms themselves.
