ULTRA  Clear Panel, Titanium finish 600W PSU

Some of you already know the name Ultra and for those that don’t shame on you, Ultra have burst on the scene with there great products from PSU’s to high performance ram and mp3 players ultra have it all. Today we take a look at Ultra Products highest output PSU, the clear paneled titanium finished 600w.

In the box

Wow opening the box was like opening the ark out of the Indiana films (well it was for me as the light above the area hit the mirrored titanium casing on the PSU) and I was left with green dots in my eyes for 20 minutes. Apart from the excellent finish on the PSU you could also spot the 20-24 pin ATX adaptor. It was also nice to see the PSU had plenty of Molex connectors as well as 2 Sata cables, ok they weren’t braided like the Sexy X-connect but I doubt no PSU will be.

Taking the PSU out of the box I was pleased to find no marks or scratches on the titanium finish, you can probably notice that it has only a front and rear fan and no underbelly fan. This is not a problem and doesn’t affect things much depending on your setup, it’s also here that you can really see how reflective the finish of the PSU is. Bellow I took a few shots to give you an example.

As I said a very nice mirrored finish and all over, the only bad thing is I now ad 101 fingerprints to wipe off. Having said that I have to admit I haven't seen a PSU yet with the finish of Ultra’s and as with the X-connect this available in 3 different types with this PSU, below are some sample photos of the other available options.

I can assure you that the finish on these is the same mirrored type as the unit I am looking at to day as the x-connect I reviewed came in the black titanium finish.
