The main thing that stands out is the fact the caddy is made from stainless steel so it should be a pretty tough little device, as tough as the hard drive anyway. It includes the cable you will need and as it doesn’t require any external power this is a Y USB cable. A leather pouch is also included so even though it’s made from stainless steel it will be protected and kept pristine at all times.
There is no mention of Windows 7 compatibility but I fail to see why it won’t run under it, I guess we will soon find out as that's what I use. Also no mention of MAC compatibility, this I cannot test for you but again I would imagine it will run on them.
