After removing the items we are looking at today I was pleased to find all were very well made and robust. Let us start off with looking at the accessories first.
First up the keyboard cover, this is made of ultra fine suede and designed to protect the screen from the keyboard,
As you can clearly see the suede is very fine, with hardly any bobbling on the surface. Although not entirely necessary I quite like this as it does the job it was intended.
Although it did not cover my keyboard fully it still kept a nice barrier between my keyboard and screen. It would also come in handy for another use for those of you that use and external mouse with your laptop, you can slide it over the touch pad (if you have one) and rest your hands on it why tying. Not what its intended for really but I use it this way and have found typing for ages doesn’t effect the base of my hand no more when using the laptop.
The next accessory we take a look at is the simple organizer pouch, not a necessity but an option if needed if you need the extra pockets. It is fitted with a clip so you can clip it in any part of any bag, again like the rest of the products this uses the reliable YKK zip system
The Freudian Slip is made to fit inside either the Brain Bag, the Smart Alec, but would probably fit most other similar size bags (confirmed to fit in Pakura bag we looked at not so long ago) and is a great idea for those of you that carry around a lot of documents.
Even on the rear it has space for pens and a few other things, the thing I liked about this product is it is reinforced to keep it stiff and thus helping protect those all important documents. If I had to carry around a lot of documents most of the time I would invest in this even if I did not have a Tom Bihn bag (check measurements first for fitting). A good idea executed well.
The snake charmer is a bag for all your cables and such and is the best accessory out of them all I think. Yes it is only a little bag, but as mentioned in info and specs it keeps them awkward sometimes annoying wires (that most laptop owners carry around if the bag) in one tidy place and that is only a good thing.
The Snake charmer is made with the same quality as the rest of the accessories and has two compartments for storing the cables, the sides are made out of stretchable webbing to ensure that you can fit every cable you would need in the bag. Overall I am impressed with the quality on the accessories, and that’s a great start. Let us move onto the bag and the inner bag options.
