Thermaltake are definitely not a company to rest on laurels, that’s for sure.  One of the biggest names in after-market coolers, cases and powersupplies, Thermaltake keep releasing product after product, constantly coming up with new ideas or revisiting (and improving) old ideas.

Only 3 months ago I reviewed the Golden Orb II, which received some mixed praise – being a very effective quiet cooler, but not one for the enthusiast – and now they have come up with a bigger brother to silence those critics, the Blue Orb II.   While the original Blue Orb was in fact a chipset cooler, this one is in fact a CPU cooler, and a much closer relative to the Golden Orb II than the Blue Orb II, as you will see.
