Synology DS210j - 2 Bay NAS

Even though the DS210j is meant for home (and small office) use, the box remains rather plain, by the looks of it a generic synology box, as the only reference to what is inside is on the sticker on the end on the left. As spartan as it is, I kind of like the design. It just feels more environmentally friendly, and that ticks boxes in my book!
The end of the box has the only clue telling you what the product contained within is. It also lists the main information points about the DS210j; like drive capacity, interfaces used, size and weight. It also lists the package contents and the main features the NAS supports.
OK, so I lied, there’s a small sticker on the top too telling you what’s in the box. I like that there’s a carry handle included on the box, makes transporting the case a lot easier. Upon opening the box, you’re greeted with the above message making sure you use the install guide to avoid setting up the NAS unit incorrectly (I didn’t think much of this till I saw just how many configurations the DS210j actually has during setup!).
And opening the box a little bit further shows the drive is securely packaged within. Again, Synology have used sustainable materials to secure the NAS, so brownie points for them.
