Swissbit 512 DDR2-533 PC4300 Memory
Part-1 The package
What we are looking at today is Swiss bits offering in the 533 ddr2 sector, the question is though does it perform. Well before we go nay further let’s take a look.
As you can see these are single sided dimm’s the strange thing here is although made with a similar chipset to one of the other sticks in the sisoft test it still out performed it slightly.
Part-2 Specs and performance
The first thing we will look at our specs, and then we will move onto the

As you can see this shouldn’t taken lightly and by reading the data sheet for this I suspect it to out perform its Samsung brother and maybe the corsair. Did it?
Let’s get on with the test and see what happens shall we.As I have been testing single ddr2 sticks the only test I think is suitable is Sisoft Sandra.
Wow I didn’t expect this to happen, I thought maybe it would get close to the corsair but not beat it. I rerun the test 3 times all with the same result the Swissbit coming out on top! With results like this I don’t know why Swissbit have not got more coverage in the media. Maybe it’s a trade secret shhh.
Probably not but still these must be hiding under a rock go out and look for them if you are after 533ddr2 ram the pricings not bad and they outperform the corsair, nice.
Strange one this I half expected it to be an average performer but boy was I wrong the fact it out performed the corsair is a feat in it self. I wonder when Swissbit will get in to the very high overclockable performance market, because if this is any thing to go by they could be a major player. If you’re after 533 ddr2 this would be my choice, why? Well the performance test decided that with each time the Swissbit coming out on top. Nice Ram and the best performance I have seen out of 533 ddr2 yet.
Thanks to Michele at SwissBit for providing the DDR2 for Review
