Next Page – Testing & In Use

While Gaming with the Flux the headset really brought the game to life with the sound quality, I could hear which direction my emery was approaching from or shooting at me so I could ready myself quickly to fire back at them and the sound feedback that the Flux produces was up to the usual high standard I expect from a SteelSeries headset.. All of my team mates could hear my voice being transmitted loud and clear and it didn't break or cut off at any time while in-use.

While listening to Music and Movie playback I was not disappointed either, the Flux dealt with everything that I through at it, Classical, Rock, Hip Hop you name it the Flux produced nice sound that I would expect from a headset in this price range. I would say that the Flux is a tad heavy on the Bass end as you really hear it come flooding through when listening to most modern stuff, this isn't a bad element to have but when listening to some of the older music like some eighties stuff you would need to adjust the bass down a bit.. (oops err I am not listening to the 80s I promise).

The great things with this headset was the sound produced on movies was spot on and suprising to say the least, even on my mobile they sounded great so a thumbs up there.

As for comfort while wear the Flux unfortunately this is one area where the headset was a letdown I would, Steelseries missed a opportunity here as at fall extended level they just fitted me and I think that makes them to small for those of you out there with a larger head. I have quite a small shaped head. So this was an issue for me.
