So where Does that leave the M1 Raptor Gaming Mouse and Pad, well it depends on a multitude of factors, if you are looking for a mouse cheap responsive and accurate mouse for gaming and donít mind 3 buttons this is probably a dream come true. But I cant see many people looking to buy a 3 button mouse, on the other hand if you do decide to make the leap the M1 Raptor is one hell of a gaming mouse, I have seen a marked improvement on my final scores and I feel more comfortable when playing because I feel in control of the mouse.
but this is just because the M1 Raptor matches my playing style so again it is entirely down to technique and your personal preference, the Raptor-Gaming Pad is also another Personal preference on the one hand it does give you increased speed and maybe accuracy but I found that the smooth 0 resistant surface made my aim fidgety and hard to control and add to the fact that the pad doesnít work with all mice I find it hard to recommend to somebody unless they are purchasing an M1 raptor along with it.
There are other factors to contend with also such as the fidgety mouse movements in PhotoShop and 3ds Max unless the mouse sensitivity is adjusted in your OS this you might say is not a problem but it is when you are constantly changing switch your mouse sensitivity between different settings for different tasks. We also see the same problems for web browsing lack of buttons forcing you to use the browser icons and again a high sensitivity making cursor control a chore.
Overall What do I think about the M1 Raptor Gaming Mouse? well personally for my gaming style on first person shooters it is the perfect mouse even with the missing buttons, but this is just me and I cannot apply that to every person, I love the weight, size (although a little too small) and responsiveness. I would recommend that every gamer try it out but because of the lack of buttons I cant see many people taking me up on that offer, itís the same story as when browsing and of using applications lack of buttons and high sensitivity make it hard to recommend.† Unless of course you are on a budget but donít want to cut on quality then M1 Raptor truly shines,
The materials used are of high quality and the construction is brilliant I donít think I have ever shaken a mouse and didnít hear rattling but surprisingly the M1 doesnít even creak, when you squeeze the mouse in your hand there is hardly any sound which is testament to how well built this mouse is and with a price tag of under 20 pounds I would defiantly put the M1 at the top of the list.
