Raptor Gaming M1 mouse and P1 mouse mat

Posted by: Vman on: 31.12.2005 01:00:00 [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

The M1 Raptor gaming mouse comes as listed in the features and specifications list above with a user guide and an extra set of mousesliders no drivers or software are bundled with the this package making the install a doodle which is always nice if you are a novice computer user,

The actual mouse has only 3 buttons left, right and wheel which is a shame considering this is a gaming mouse I would have liked to see at least a thumb button for crouching and this could have been easily implemented.

I was also letdown by the fact that there is no dpi switch as 1600 dpi is not needed in all situations on the other hand the mouse has a nice velvety type feel and is a pleasure to hold in your hand, which leads me onto another problem with the M1 it is only for right handed people so all you lefties had better start looking elsewhere.

The M1 is very light weight making it very manoeuvrable and responsive in the hand it is also extremely well constructed, and has no rattling noises when shaken.

This is a shock considering that light mice are usually light because of the cheap materials used. This is not the case with the M1 as the materials used are of high quality and this shows in the finished product, as for the design well personally at this moment I think it is a little small and would like the mouse to be a little longer but I am a big person so this is usually the case with light weight mice and is something I have come used to.

Moving onto the Mouse Pad, I like the large shape and simple design which complements the M1 perfectly, as stated in the spec sheet the mat has a super smooth surface that lets the mouse glide along the surface rather than scrape.

I think the mousesliders help in this matter greatly, the mat also grips to the under surface very well and is difficult to move mistakenly which I find a lot of mouse mats seem to overlook, now I have given you a overview of the mouse a mat lets move onto the install.
