The Patriot Sector5 2000 memory has done nothing but impress me from the moment I opened the packaging. It looks good and it performs great. Even when under clocked it can still deliver by running quite tight timings, so you wonít really lose out if your set up canít run your memory at 2000Mhz.
At the time of writing I couldnít find any UK prices for the Patriot Sector5 but the US price was around $160, which equates to just over £100, if we get it for this it will be an absolute bargain but I suspect it will be nearer £160 which will bring it in line with its competition.
Thereís not a great deal more I can say about the Patriot Sector5 except buy it, if you are on the market for some high speed memory for your dual channel set up then this is what you need, it has a little bit of head room for over clocking, if 2000Mhz isnít enough, it has a life time warranty so if you are unfortunate enough to have a stick fail then you can get it replaced.
What more could you want?
- Excellent performance
- Comes with lifetime warranty
- Does exactly what it says on the tin (or packet)
- Performs even when under clocked.
- For some reason it ran at CR3 at stock speeds and I couldnít get it to do anything better.
Reality check: Excellent memory and definitely worthy of a RECOMMENDED award.
