The first thing that struck me about this memory is the sheer size and weight of it, it must be twice the size (height) and weight of normal memory. The finish on it is impeccable it’s almost mirror like and, as you would expect, it has the OCZ logo on the front.
Moving round the back the finish is not quite a shiny but still floorless, we also have another sticker showing off those tight timings. The contacts, as per the norm, are finished in gold. The water-cooling fittings seem to be plenty long enough and should grip the tubing nicely with the triple barbs.
Looking down the length of the memory you see the fins aren’t actually the whole width of the memory, I can only assume this aids in air-cooling and saves a bit of weight. Also you can see why the water-cooling barbs are the size they are, they are actually the full width of the memory. This also explains why they aren’t removable I doubt you could fit any bigger fittings into them without making the memory too wide for your typical motherboard to fit them in adjacent slots.
