Noctua NH-D14 Heatpipe Cooler

Something that’s not evident from this picture alone is the size of this box, it is 24cm tall, and 21cm wide. One thing’s for sure, the NH-D14 is going to be a massive cooler.

Noctua seem to have ditched their so far traditional brown/black/blue main colour scheme for product boxes, and have opted to use predominantly white box with line-art drawings of the cooler contained within. The splashes of colour in the bands of product specifications dotted around the box keep the design looking very sharp.

The front and back of the box have single pictures of the cooler from different angles, with a few key features on the front, and actual dimensions of the cooler on the back.

One side of the box lists the main features with a bit more detail, while the other re-tells the detail in several different languages. In a good use of box real estate (helping the box design feel very spacious) Noctua have chosen to put the full specifications of the cooler in a strip on the top of the box. You can read the full specifications on our specifications page.

Opening the box reveals the reason for its huge size; the cooler is sat in a smaller box, and the additional space (what must be nearly 2cm all the way around the cooler) is just for protective packaging to keep the cooler safe.
