Unpacking the NF-F12 PWM, we can see the included accessories and instruction/informational booklet.

Up front the NF-F12 PWM looks quite familiar – the fan design is almost the same as the NF-P12 (this fans older brother), with a few minor differences.
From the base we can see the new “notches” on the frame – on previous models these notches were on the tips of the fan blade itself, however Noctua has found that by moving them to hear, it reduces noise further.

The NF-F12 PWM has typical high-quality Noctua build quality. This colour scheme has been Noctua’s for as long as I can remember!

Up close we can see the NF-F12 PWM comes with rubber pads on the edges to help reduce vibrations. When attached to a case, these should prevent any vibrations by the fan creating any noise.

Included with the fan are: Low-Noise Adapter (in line resistor), 4-Pin Y-Cable (for running 2 fans from 1 header), 30cm Extension Cable, 4 Vibration-Compensators (alternative to metal screws), 4 Fan (traditional) Screws.
