It’s good to see the Noctua can run all the way from 300rpm up to 1500rpm – this is a nice wide range, and should allow for the perfect fine-tweaking of cooling vs sound (with a suitable fan controller). Additionally of interest is the Low-Noise Adapter included, this takes the fan down to 1200rpm (from 1500rpm) without the need for a fan controller.
The 30cm Extension cable will allow for fitting in awkward spots, and the 4 “vibration compensators” should prevent any vibration noise from this fan. Noctua really do appear to have thought of everything the average “silence” enthusiast would be looking for.
