Lian Li PC-7 Plus Aluminum case

For testing, all I can say is that this is a quite case.  The good quality construction and fans mean that there is little to no vibration, and the fans are quiet.  On cooling, the 2 x 120mm fans give it a thumbs up for me.  Both fans are uncluttered, especially the front one, in comparison with some cases.  The filters may cut down airflow, but they also cut down dust, which is a lot more dangerous (esp. with H2O cooling).

In conclusion, I would say that anyone buying this case would be impressed with the quality of the build.  It doesn’t have the ‘tool-less’ features of some cases, nor any flashy handles or vents.  And if you want them? Get out the dremel. Lian Li have definitely gone for the “Less is more” approach with the PC-7 Plus, and have pulled it off.  It is simple, it works, and just screams quality all the way through.  The only 2 things I have against it are the side panel removal, and lack of removable motherboard – which not many cases do well anyway.

Pro’s
• Good quality build
• All Aluminium – light
• Simple effective design
• Good quiet cooling
• Looks good too
• Potential for modding

Con’s
• No Removable Motherboard tray
• Side doors a little finicky
