Kworld DVD Maker 2 USB

The DVD Maker 2 is quite a single function device – offering the ability to record video from S-Video and RCA sources. Whilst this may appear to be a bad thing, it has meant that it is incredibly user friendly and straight forward – it literally is as easy as install it, plug it in and away you go. Whilst the ability to record from S-Video and RCA sources is often available with USB & PCI TV Cards, these cards, whilst similarly priced are not bundled with the powerful and user friendly PowerDirector suite. As such, if you need to record video and audio from an external source, the KWorld DVD Maker 2 should definitely be on your list for consideration.
Pros
- Very user friendly
- Bundled with powerful and flexible software (Cyberlink PowerDirector featuring PowerProducer).
- S-Video and RCA inputs
- DVD Quality recording
- Small & Stylish
- Give a digital life to your old VHS, Hi8 etc recordings
Cons
- TV Cards often have this ability (but lack appropriate software)
- Software requires a little more CPU power than advertised to feel 100% responsive
Reality Check: Whether you wish to use your computer to record TV programs via RCA/S-Video sources, or just want to convert the odd VHS tape into digital format, the KWorld DVD Maker 2 is a simple, easy to use solution – it should be at the top of your list.
