There are so many complicated architectures in today’s graphics cards that gone are the days when you could tell how it would perform by just looking at the specifications alone. In one sense it’s a good job, as if you could, we wouldn’t be asked to review cards like this!
It’s worth noting that along with the iChill black series waterblock, this card comes overclocked by 20Mhz on the core, 40Mhz on the ‘shader’ clock, and it also has a 52Mhz memory overclock. So the performance should be slightly better than a standard GTX480 across the board.
All of the important things you would want from a nvidia graphics card are present on the GTX480, like; CUDA, PhysX, 3D Vision, Full DX11 and even a mini HDMI port for HDTV use.
