The box follows the graphics card precedent of having a CGI character on the front, and as far as CGI characters go, this one isn’t too bad. The HDMI logo is also prominently displayed, for this card outputs to HDMI which makes it ideal for HTPC use. The bottom green strip tells us that this card is also CUDA capable, which opens up a whole world of graphics processing options with the many CUDA apps available.
The back of the box tells us the buzzwords for why we need a good graphics card, even for just day to day use of a PC, as it can help speed up aero on vista and win 7, enhance video playback and even better colour reproduction for looking at photos.
There’s a sticker on the side of the box (which is also on the front) letting us know what version of the card that is included. This is the GT220 with 1GB of RAM. The other side of the box lists some of the main technologies (mostly nvidia tech) that this card supports, including, CUDA, badaboom, Nvidia 3D, PhysX and vista and win 7.
