Crucial Ballistix DDR2 PC2 8000 (1000Mhz) 2 gig kit

As you would expect the Ballistix ram uses the same tried and tested heat spreaders on the memory. If it is not broke donít fix it as I say a lot.
On both sides of the spreader you find the crucial Ballistix logo as well as a sticker indicating that these are Lead free which means they are ROHS ready. For those of you that donít know what ROHS is click here (http://www.rohs.gov.uk/)
One thing I still find puzzling with the Ballistix range is no module info on the memory, ok you know what you are buying before it gets to you, but Crucial put this info on lesser laptop ram as seen on the right. Its not anything major, just something I personally think should be put on all modules.
Ok enough of the pictures, let us get these installed and see what they can do when compared to the Kingston PC2 8000 2 gig kit we looked at recently.
