Installation was a breeze even with having to connect the case power switch to the card and then the mobo in a pass through type setup. It took a total of 20 minutes to install including software, once installed the setup was easy and simple enough to do. The setup is just like any other tv card with the initial auto search for channels, but this card is different to previously reviewed TV devices as it supports both analogue and digital tv. You can’t use both at once but still if you cant pick up Digital tv at the moment this might be a viable option for you as it will still allow you to get digital in the future.
One of the things I liked about this card is although it was put in my MCE2005 PC, I had to test it under normal Windows environment as well. So a reboot was required to boot up normal XP pro (backup OS on My MCE-PC) after installing Compro’s software for the card I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use and should add that it’s quite a user friendly bit of software. It also passed my 30 minute standard, Which is just a time frame on how long it takes to get out of the box and watching tv.
I tried hard to get a good phot of the card running in my MCE pc but no matter how i tried to take the picture it still wouldn't show the picture improvement over my last card so you will just have to take my word for it.
