Bitfenix Shinobi XL Full Tower

Conclusion

Bitfenix had a lot to prove in expanding on what some thought was an almost perfect case, but they have done it and more, the Shinobi XL is a fantastic case.

Build quality is great as is the quality of the materials, water-cooling support is great as is SSD and EATX support, and the only real way this case could be improved within its price bracket would be to add a modular HDD bay.

Also available in window option this is a great case and certainly something worth looking at, it has bags of room and space for watercooling and other possibilities, all in all, a superb offering to the market.

The Bitfenix Shinobi XL is a superb case and more than worthy of our Gold award.

Pros

  • Build/Material quality
  • Size
  • Excellent cable routing
  • Superb water-cooling compatibility
  • Price point

Cons

  • Plastics hard to remove (this is more related to the good build quality rather than a true con. Bezels so well attached using quick snap off may break bezels in half)
  • No Modular HDD bay

Reality check: This is a great case, whilst its looks may not be to the tastes of some the quality and usability cannot be denied, priced almost perfectly and offering a huge bang for the buck.
