If you’ve seen arctic cooling’s packaging before, then you’ll know that both of these boxes share the same design scheme as used throughout their product line. On the plus side, it makes it pretty easy to recognise an Arctic Cooling product without having to have seen the AC logo. The front of the box boasts of both mice’s 2400dpi maximum sensitivity, targeted at ‘twitch gamers’ no doubt, and the mice’s laser sensor.
The mice are displayed in a plastic enclosure, which means that you can see their shape and form before opening the box. With a device you’ll spend so much time using, seeing how it’ll fit into your hand is a huge consideration before you buy, and the box allows you to do this.
The sides of the box are pretty empty, just the M571 has a couple more of the ‘feature hexagons’ on the other side pointing out its customisable weights and it’s ‘programmed shooting button’ (more on that later).
Even the back of the boxes share mostly the same text, with the differentiation for the M571’s weights, ‘programmed shooting button’ and slightly different dimensions.
