The S1 kit contains, mounting hardware, installation instructions, cooler, ATI voltage regulator heatsinks, ramsink’s, PCI vent bracket and an Arctic Cooling case sticker. (The secret to the actual performance of the card lies in the case sticker, so be sure to use it. :P)
The cooler itself as you can see from the picture above is very large, you can tell this just from the size of the block through the grills, one thing that was already pretty impressive was the weight. Even though the cooler covers a large area it is actually quite light, and with four large heat pipes on the cooler it should be able to transfer a lot of the heat over to the fins. Let us take a look at the block.
The block comes prepared with the paste, while this does not give us the chance to see the finish on the bottom, it does mean you won’t have to bother applying heatpaste. This is very good for a novice who would be unsure on how much paste to apply.
Well as you saw in presentation we have the turbo module as well, so we will be testing the coolers passive ability as well as its ability to cool with the turbo module. The Turbo module is pretty simple to fit and is basically 2 fans to strap on to the S1.
