And here we have the GT 430 “Classic” from Axle. It’s quite a good looking, nicely sized card. The fan used here is 9cm, so it should hopefully be quiet and keep things cool.
As said, this is a good looking card. Quite in tune with the Fermi “look”. I particularly like the vents – very “sports” car like.
Side on you can see that the cooler doesn’t have much to cool – the heatsink itself is seated over the core and the RAM
Like most Fermi cards, this one has vents on the top PCI-E bracket to allows heat to be exhausted from the case – this is a good design. Additionally, we can see this card is ready to go for VGA, DVI and HDMi monitors/TV’s.
The bottom of the Axle GT 430 shows the black PCB. It’s a nice colour choice.
And here is a nice end-on shot of that GT 430, it certainly looks good!
Inside the box we find an instruction book, the driver CD, and the GPU itself. If you look closely, you can even see my reflection in the protective wrapping – that’s a bonus you (and I) weren’t expecting.
